Many of my friends have the new Apple 4G phone and it is a lot of fun! Apple is doing themselves almost an injustice by limiting I-phones solely to AT&T customers and also AT&T has failed to meet the requirements in their contract with Apple so being that Verizon owns a large share of the cellphone towers in the USA, a merger with them would definitely benefit Apple in the long run :-) As a Verizon customer I am definitely looking forward to this!
