One plan, one price, everything IT
A+ Animal is a flat-rate managed IT services plan. You pay one fixed price per user per month. In return, DAG Tech runs your helpdesk, manages and secures every computer, phone, cloud app and office network, onboards and offboards your people, and reports on your technology every quarter.
There are no per-ticket fees, no hourly meters for support, and no separate bills for the security tools, backup or training that come with the plan. Add a user and the plan grows with you.

How we priced the traditional setup
- Labor at top metro rates. Break-fix IT providers charge $175–$275 per hour, often with a one-hour minimum; IT strategy and consulting runs $150–$300 per hour. We use $180 per hour for support and administration, $200 for security work and $240 for strategy, in line with top-tier providers in major metro areas.
- Hours scale with your size. Support assumes about 1.3 billed hours per user per month: roughly one request per user, billed with a one-hour minimum, plus after-hours calls. Management, security, strategy and training each carry a fixed base of hours plus time per user, so smaller companies pay more per user and larger ones less.
- Software at list price for the same category of tool we use. Per-user tools scale with users; vulnerability scanning and documentation are priced per 100 users; DMARC moves to the next plan above 100 users. Large organizations may negotiate volume discounts on software.
- Not counted: hardware and software you buy, on-site visits beyond network-down events, and projects. These are separate under both models.
Why one flat rate works better
The savings are only part of it. A single price changes how your IT gets run.
A budget that doesn't move
One per-user price. Your IT cost changes only when your headcount does, not with every outage, project or renewal.
Nobody waits to ask for help
Requests are unlimited, so your people report small issues early instead of living with them until they become outages.
We're paid to prevent problems
We do better when things don't break. That's why we invest in patching, monitoring and automation for you.
Security on every seat
EDR, identity protection, backup and training come with every user from day one. None of it is optional or the first thing cut.
One team, one answer
One team owns every service in the plan, so there's no vendor finger-pointing and one call gets it resolved.
No tools to manage
We license, integrate and run every tool. You don't juggle subscriptions, renewals or admin consoles, and you get one bill.

Flat-rate managed IT questions, answered
What does "flat rate" mean for A+ Animal?
You pay one fixed price per user each month. Every service listed on this page is included for every user, with no per-ticket fees, no hourly billing for support and no separate charges for the included security, backup and training tools.
How much does A+ Animal cost?
A+ Animal is priced per user per month with volume pricing. On a 3-year contract it runs from $170 per user for 5–9 users down to $142 for 600–999 users; a 50-user organization pays $158. On a 1-year contract it runs from $180 down to $152, or $168 at 50 users.
How much do managed IT services cost per user?
All-inclusive managed IT plans typically run $125 to $220 per user per month. A+ Animal runs $142 to $180 per user, with cybersecurity, backup, training and quarterly IT strategy included. Buying the same coverage line by line at top-tier metro rates costs about $537 per user per month for a 50-user organization.
What is included in managed IT services pricing?
With A+ Animal, the per-user price includes 27 services: a 24/7/365 service desk, management of devices, networks and cloud apps, patching and backup, a cybersecurity suite with EDR, ITDR, email security and vulnerability scanning, onboarding and procurement, security training, and a quarterly State of The Technology report. Projects, purchases and dedicated hours are added separately.
Is hourly IT support cheaper than a flat-rate managed IT plan?
Rarely. Hourly providers charge $175 to $275 per hour, often with a one-hour minimum, and the security tools are billed on top. For 50 users, buying A+ Animal's coverage by the hour comes to about $26,845 a month, compared with $7,900 for A+ Animal on a 3-year contract.
Is on-site support included?
Yes, when your network is down. We dispatch a technician to restore the outage at no extra charge. Scheduled on-site visits and dedicated engineering time are available as a Clarity IT™ add-on.

What size companies use A+ Animal?
A+ Animal fits organizations from about ten employees to large companies with thousands of users. You add or remove seats as you grow.

Where is your team located?
DAG Tech is headquartered in the USA. Our team provides around-the-clock monitoring and support.

How do I pay?
Through our automated billing platform by ACH or credit card. You receive a receipt each billing cycle.
Can the contract be customized?
A+ Animal uses standard terms under our Master Service Agreement and the A+ Animal SLA so we can keep the price low and the service consistent.
