What is Microsoft NCE?

Microsoft, the technology corporation who offers software and services for computers, is currently on a transitional journey towards the future and they are taking professional industries along for the trip. Microsoft launched their “New Commerce Experience,” simply known as “NCE” in January 2022.

As a managed service provider, we are seeing more choice and ease of use with the simplicity of NCE. Through the NCE platform, we have been able to help to guide our customers’ digital evolution to the stars. We are skyrocketing in service advancements through consistency and standardization.

Microsoft streamlined and eased the transition to the New Commerce Experience in a way that it did not disrupt the flow of any business. The elevation to the new platform was so smooth and straightforward, most businesses did not notice any changes.

One notable change is that Audio Conferencing is now available with Microsoft Teams Subscriptions.

Another important factor is NCE dictates that licenses may not be removed until the agreed upon timeframe comes to completion. There are currently monthly and annual options. Microsoft is working on a 3-year term, but that is TBD.

All standard Microsoft Business and Microsoft Office products are offered through the NCE per seat model including Microsoft 365, Windows 365, Dynamics 365, and Power Platform.
