Procurement Manager – Cloud, Partner & Materials

DAG Tech is seeking a Procurement Manager specializing in Cloud Services, Partner Relationships, and Materials on a contract/BPO basis. This role spans procurement, IT asset management, e-commerce, and VAR cloud services — with a strong focus on competitive pricing, documentation, and process improvement.

Procurement

• Hardware, licenses, software, materials and other one-off and project-based ordering
• Focus on charging competitively and negotiating to achieve target markup (industry standard or better)
• Standardization and documentation (SOP) of procurement systems
• Improvement of client request workflow and experience
• Improve procurement tracking and billing coordination

Internal Procurement

• Create Work From Anywhere (WFA) specs and policies for providing hardware and licensing
• Track costs and budget

IT Asset Management

• Improve IT asset management systems and keep asset tracking up to date and accurate
• Provide regular and on-demand reports to clients, including Performance Reports and State of The Technology (SOTT)
• Fleet Management (proactive): create baseline specs, pass/fail fleets, issue upgrade quotes to clients proactively
• Network Management: create baseline specs, pass/fail networks, issue upgrade quotes to clients proactively

E-Commerce

• Build out and maintain one-time and subscription products sold on estore.dagtech.com (Shopify / Chargify experience a plus)
• Drive improvements to e-commerce fees, functionality, and UX
• Publish DAG Tech products on selling platforms

VAR Cloud Services

• Document VAR services, current subscriptions, vendors, pricing, and contacts
• Set competitive VAR pricing with creative thought into pricing models and packaging
• Analyze vendor costs and ensure all cloud services are fully billed
• Negotiate with VAR cloud vendors for better pricing
• Coordinate with divisions for per-product P&L tracking

Seat Tracking

• Manage DAG Tech flat-rate products such as A+ Animal and Diamond IT
• Coordinate with billing

Setsail Coordination

• Improve Setsail as a client hub for procurement, asset management, and related functions

Presentation

• Deliver a monthly presentation covering all of the above areas — motivated, confident presenter required

Engagement: Contract/BPO | Rate: $20–$25/hr | FTE: 0.40 (Part-time) | Location: Anywhere (Remote)
